The Climb Makes Us
it’s easy to want the result. the finish line photo. the medal. the body that looks like it puts in work. the community that feels like family. people see the view and they want it.
but the view was never the hard part.
the climb is. the 5am alarms nobody claps for. the solo miles in the cold. the days you showed up tired, unmotivated, running on empty, and did it anyway. the years of quiet work that nobody posted about. that’s the part people skip when they tell you they want what you have.
everyone is jealous of what you’ve got. nobody is jealous of how you got it.
and that’s exactly why it’s yours.
so we keep climbing. not for the view. for what the climb makes us. and here’s where it gets bigger than us, because we don’t climb just to stand at the top alone. we run forward to give back.
every mile we log is a mile toward something. toward youth sports programs. toward the kids who need gear, mentorship, and someone to believe in them before they believe in themselves. toward communities that deserve access to the same starting line we got. we run to give back to the next generation of runners coming up behind us.
no borders to where we won’t go. no boundaries that can stop us from giving back. no limits to who we’ll reach or where we’ll reach them.
we’re going to be using this a lot moving forward. so get used to it.
run forward. give back. 🖤🪶
