It Doesn’t Ask You to Hide

you don’t have to shrink yourself to run with us.

running has always been one of the most honest things you can do. just you, the road, and whatever you’re carrying. it doesn’t ask you to explain. it doesn’t ask you to hide. it doesn’t ask you to be anything other than exactly who you are.

and that’s why it matters.
because not every space does that. not every room makes it easy to walk in as yourself and leave feeling whole. but the road always has. and the people you find on it, the right ones, they do too.

pride is personal for a lot of runners. it’s the courage to show up fully. to run in your truth without apology. to let every stride say what words sometimes can’t. that you’re here. that you’re not going anywhere. that you deserve every mile just as much as anyone else.
this month we celebrate our lgbtq+ runners and allies not because it’s june but because you’ve always been part of this. the early morning miles. the group runs. the hard days and the good ones. you’ve been here. and we see you.

the running community is better because of you. louder because of you. more alive because of you.
so run proud. run loud. run exactly as you are.
we run with you. always. 🖤🪶🏳️‍🌈
