FOR LOVE, WE RUN
some days the world feels heavier than it should.
families pulled apart.
goodbyes said too soon.
people just trying to hold on to the ones they love.
so we run.
down the beach path,
past the tide,
past the noise,
like we’re chasing something we don’t want to lose.
every stride feels like a reminder to stay close.
to call your people.
to say i love you while you still can.
today i watched us move together like a quiet tribe of nomads, sun on our backs, salt in the air, hearts wide open.
not running away, but running toward each other, with each other.
because in a world that keeps separating us,
love is the only thing worth holding tighter.
and so,
for love, we run.
